Abstract
We study the relation between inequality and growth in position of fertility. We construct a model in which growth undergoes the influence of the fertility differential, the distribution of the incomes, and the human capital. Poor parents do not invest more in quality than in quantity of their children. An increase in inequality lowers average education and, therefore, growth.
